3rd3rsday  Virtual Interactive Roundtable:
Power Email Marketing - Getting Your Messages Through

Learning and Lunch? This 3rd3rsday is an inside look at email marketing. Sign up for this roundtable and find out how you can improve response by first improving your deliverability. If your email doesn't land in the inbox, it can't get a click. Spam has forced ISPs to clamp down and put more stringent methods into place to protect consumer mailboxes. Unfortunately, sometimes good email like yours gets caught in the net. But there are things you can do to ensure better delivery of your email and increase your response rates. During the roundtable we'll leave plenty of time for Q&A so come armed with your comments, challenges and questions.

Guest Expert will be Brian Westnedge, Regional Director of Return Path, one of the country's leading email reputation firms.

Be sure to send your questions prior to this event to: 3rd3rsday@gmail.com

BMA Gold Key Entries Now Open

Who will throw their turban into the ring and share the adventure?

The 2010 Gold Key Awards, sponsored by The Business Marketing Association

Have you shared your stories of marketing success this year? That’s the purpose of the BMA Colorado Gold Key Awards – the ultimate reward for people working together to weave a successful campaign. The designer and the account person, the writer and the marketing director – you all work together to fit the pieces together.

For over 30 years, BMA Colorado has been hosting their annual Gold Key Awards - honoring the very best in business-to-business marketing and communications.  There are 43 categories to enter - ranging from the traditional print advertising and public relations and direct mail to the new media of websites, blogs, online branding campaigns, and SEO.  There is even a Potpourri category if your work doesn't seem to fit any of the other 42 categories!

All entries are submitted online - no boards to have to worry about.  Entrants can work on their files up until the entry deadline.  Early birds (ok, we know there are a few!) get a discount if their entries are paid for by FEBRUARY 12.  Everyone else can go with the regular deadline of FEBRUARY 19 - and for the really late procrastinator - MARCH 5 at midnight is it!

For more information, visit www.bmacolorado.org/goldkey

Welcome to the New Denver Ad Club

The New Denver Ad Club is the newest, oldest advertising association in the country.  It was founded in January 2007, 115 years after the nation’s first ad club started right here in Denver.

Keep It Interesting. We’ve established interest groups for Creative, Media, Management/Brand Strategy/Research, Studio/Print Production and now we've added one for Interactive/Broadcast Production - all for people regardless whether they work for agencies, advertisers, the media, as freelancers or service providers.  We’re reaching out to those in advertising, merchandising, design, interactive, sales promotion, public relations, and other marketing communications disciplines.

These interest groups meet on an informal basis, promoting discussion, shared learning, and networking.  You can belong to one or many interest groups. Be sure to join our mailing list to receive notices of each interest group's next meeting or event.

Ad2 Denver: providing networking, professional development and all around good times for ad professionals ages 32 and under.

As one of 22 local chapters of the American Advertising Federation's national Ad2 network, the Denver chapter exists to provide Denver's up and coming advertising professionals with the resources and
opportunities they need to develop and enhance their careers. From students to grizzled (but not yet jaded) veterans, Ad2's members come from a variety of disciplines, including: account management, creative, public relations, media, production, and brand management (to name a few).

So whether you need to blow off steam at one of Ad2's networking happy hours, gain insight into the latest ad trends, or lend a hand with the annual public service campaign, there's something for everyone addicted to advertising.

Members of Ad2 are also members of the New Denver Ad Club. Two for the price of one!

Get Involved, Network, Make a Difference. The New Denver Ad Club was initiated to elevate the Denver advertising community’s profile nationally. If you’d like to become a part of it, sign up for membership now.

Please join our mailing list and you will be part of what we all hope to be wonderful new club - with the goal of promoting the Denver/Boulder marketing and communications industry as well as creating strong networking and education opportunities for our members.
