Welcome to the Ad Club for the 21st Century
The New Denver Ad Club is the newest, oldest advertising association in the country. It was founded in January 2007, 115 years after the nation’s first ad club started right here in Denver.
Today, the Front Range attracts enthusiasts, individualists and innovators with an entrepreneurial spirit that stretches from Coors to Crocs and Fat Tire to Frontier. Finding inspiration in the Rockies are artists and musicians as diverse as big band leader Glenn Miller and punk rocker Jello Biafra, South Park creator Trey Parker and western photographer William Henry Jackson, gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson and beat writer Jack Kerouac.
With that sense of iconoclastic creativity the New Denver Ad Club was formed.
Keep It Interesting. We’ve established interest groups for Creative, Media, Management/Brand Strategy/Research, Studio/Print Production and now we've added one for Interactive/Broadcast Production - all for people regardless whether they work for agencies, advertisers, the media, as freelancers or service providers. We’re reaching out to those in advertising, merchandising, design, interactive, sales promotion, public relations, and other marketing communications disciplines.
These interest groups meet on an informal basis, promoting discussion, shared learning, networking and friendship. You can belong to one or many interest groups. Be sure to

Ad2 Denver for Those Under 32. One of 22 local chapters of the American Advertising Federation’s national Ad2, the Denver chapter provides networking, learning and real-world experience for newcomers to the industry.
Each chapter selects a local public service client and develops a complete campaign. The first client for Ad2 Denver is the Bradford Washburn American Mountaineering Museum, which opens in 2008. The campaign will promote the only museum in the U.S. devoted to the world of mountains, mountaineering, mountain cultures and 10th Mountain Division history.
Members of Ad2 are also members of the New Denver Ad Club. Two for the price of one!
Major Events, Seminars, Awards and Programs. In our inaugural year, we’re planning a handful of major events for all members.
We kicked off the year with 500 people attending our “Welcome Crispin Porter Bogusky” event featuring Alex Bogusky, interviewed by Rocky Mountain News Editor and Publisher John Temple.
Dr. Joe Plummer, Research Director for the Advertising Research Foundation, gave a breakfast seminar on “New Measures in Advertising Effectiveness” in conjunction with the University of Denver Marketing Roundtable.
This Fall the Brand Strategy Pod will host a Marketing Research Roundtable of local research experts, strategists, and marketing research directors at Johnson & Wales University.
Denver 50, the newest awards program in the country, will hold its premier Dec. 6 at the EXDO Events Center. Closing for entries was Aug. 28, but you won’t want to miss the unveiling of the 50 best ideas in Denver advertising. Award books will be presented to every attendee.
