NDAC 2009 Silver Medal Award - Steve Sander
|

According to the Denver Business Journal's Ed Sealover, it was the first time in five years that a Denver professional has received this highest award given by the American Advertising Federation. Well, it certainly was high time.
What's a guy have to do to get a little attention anyway? 30 years of working in local agencies. Playing key roles in bringing events like the '98 Major League Baseball All Star Game, the '05 National Basketball Association All Star Game and... let's not forget.... the 2008 Democratic National Convention to our fair city.
Now, as Director of Strategic Marketing for the City of Denver under Mayor John Hickenlooper, he is keeping the metroplex on the radars of the world - and top-ranked in national rankings of best places to live and work.
Friends like Kathy Hagan, Co-President of Karsh/Hagan, payed homage and tripped us down memory lane while Mayor Hick mixed his praise with glimpses of future wonders the city will soon unveil - someone clearly taught the Mayor how to market.
